Long time...
Yeah, I've ignored the blog, this should be no surprise.
But the big problem is that it's supposed to be a place to express myself and my feelings and my thoughts. Except that most of my feelings or thoughts are not things I want everyone to know. I mean, I wouldn't mind if some of them knew... but there are certain thoughts that certain people shouldn't be privy to. (dangling participle).
All I know is I get in my car and I start driving places, and I don't much want to stop. I mean, I often want to get out of my car because I'm tired, but I want to *be* somewhere else. "The call of the road" if you will. Fortunately, I'll be hitting the road a week from today to go to Florida, and possibly going to New York in September. Hopefully this will last until I ship.

I know what you mean about the driving thing. I keep kinda wishing I hadn't moved so close to civilization 'cause I miss the time to drive and think in the car... though I don't miss the crappy radio stations... I think I need another road trip to Wisconsin.. Pick Kris up from Oostburg, visit Gabe in the middle of nowhere, or Amber and Jen in Baraboo... something to get me out of here... At least I have the drive to Hillsdale in a month...
